Young dancers take the stage

Posted

More than 300 young ballet dancers from the South Suburban Parks and Recreation District’s Academy of Ballet and Dance recently performed the classic story of "Cinderella" at their annual spring recital.

The youngsters, ranging from age 3 through high school, and 23 ballet classes from the Buck , Lone Tree, and Goodson Recreation Centers were directed by the Academy’s primary instructor, Holly Reno, and instructors Sue Fazio, Shelby Barbin and Amy Fong.

Summer classes will be starting May 16, at SSPR Rec Centers. Registration is still open and can be done online (www.sspr.org), by phone (303-347-5999), or at any of recreation centers.
