As the graduates of the Arapahoe High School class of 2021 prepared to embark on the next chapter of their lives, they looked back at the closing of the last one with grace and humility.
“We weathered a storm like no other,” keynote speaker Pria Zaveri told her 520 fellow graduates at the Littleton Public Schools Stadium on May 21. “I hope you’re as humbled to have been part of it as I am.”
Representatives of the Northern Arapaho people, with whom the school shares a close relationship, told the students to carry on the Warrior spirit they summoned through the depths of the pandemic.
“The best revenge is living well,” said Jordan Dresser, the chairman of the Northern Arapaho Nation. “I hope the Creator blesses all of us with long, healthy lives, that we may live well.”
