Boys highlights: Littleton’s Kumar Pinkney won the 200-meter
dash with a time of 22.20 seconds. He also won the 300 high hurdles
with 40.92. Tevin Tyson won the 800 run with 2 minutes, 3.50
seconds. Littleton’s 1,600 relay team won its event with
3:25.78.
In the field events, the Lions’ Denzel Washington won the high
jump with a measurement of 5 feet, 10 inches. Tevin Tyson was
second in the long jump. Tristan Mosier was second in the shot put.
In the discus, Ben Kiyotake nabbed with gold medal with 147-8.
Arapahoe’s Nile Carrethers was second in the 100 dash. Lance
Loken won the 400 in 50.94. Jason Van De Weghe was second in the
400. Matt Winfrey was second in the 800. Jason Kearns was second in
the 1,600 and won the 3,200 10:05.37 on the clock. Conner Jordan
won the 110 high hurdles with 15.67. He was also second in the 300
hurdles. The Warriors won the 800 relay with 1:30.64.
The Warriors’ Cameron Durkin tied for first in the pole vault
with 12-feet-even.
Heritage’s Seth Kisselman was second in the 200 dash. Matt
Freeman was second in the 110 hurdles. The Eagles’ 400-meter relay
team won its event with a time of 43.82 seconds. the 3,200 relay
team also won with 8:21.83 on the clock. Dalton Mason was second in
the discus throw.
The Eagles’ Brian Hedges was second in the high jump. Jon Witte
and Sake Siler tied for first place in the pole vault at
12-feet-even. Talor Meyer won the long jump with 21-2. In the
triple jump, Jeff Claflin was first place with 41-6, while Jeff
Whitney was second. Wes Korisky won the shot put with a throw of
49-0.5.
Girls highlights: Heritage’s Andrea Slouka won the 100 dash
12.37. Angie Csaszar was second in the event. Slouka also won the
200 with 25.81. Sarah Schultz was second in the 800 run. The
Eagles’ 400 relay team won its event in 49.77. Their 800 relay team
was second. In the 3,200 relay, Heritage was also first with
10:22.68.
The Eagles’ Leah Zimmerman was runner up in the shot put. Jenna
Engel was second in the discus.
Littleton’s Dana Gaetani was second in the 200 dash. She won the
400 with a time of 57.48. The Lions’ 800 relay team won its event
with 1:44.44, as did the 1,600 relay team in 4:02.12.
Jenna Adams took gold for the Lions in the pole vault with a
measurement of 12-feet-even. Colleen McAnallen was the event’s
runner up. Allyson Anderson won the shot put with 33-5. Chelsea
Boyd won the discus with 97-2.
Arapahoe’s Taryn Phipps was second in the 400 dash. Ashley Limes
won the 800 run with 2:32.81. Limes also won the 1,600 in 5:40.05.
Colleen Koenig won the 3,200 run with 12:28.87, Mary McPherson was
second in the event. Stephanie Gerber won the Warriors the 100 high
hurdles with 15.26 and the 300 hurdles in 46.54. Arapahoe’s 1,600
relay was second in the event, as was the 3,200 relay team.
Gerber took the gold medal in the long jump with
36-feet-even.
