Chambers earns award at Hampden-Sydney College

John Robert Chambers, a sophomore at Hampden-Sydney College, received the Omicron Delta Kappa Award. Chambers served on the Student Senate during his freshman year and was elected to serve again as a sophomore.

He plays offense on the varsity football team, is a dean's list student, and is a member of the social fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon. John is a graduate of Saint Anne's-Belfield in Charlottesville, Va., and is the son of Judy and Martin Chambers of Centennial.

Montgomery earns scholarship to Fort Hays

Mallory Montgomery, a 2010 Cherry Creek High School graduate, accepted a $1,200 Miller Black and Gold Academic Award to Fort Hays State University for the 2010-2011 academic year. Montgomery, daughter of Jan Montomery, of Centennial, plans to major in health and human performance.
