The following U.S. Air Force Academy cadets who graduated from Littleton schools were named on the dean’s list and commandant’s list for the first semester. Michael Kazakoff, Heritage High School, Class of 2012; Eric Goral, Heritage High School, Class of 2010; Joel Holley, Littleton High School, Class of 2010; and Brock Logan, Arapahoe High School.

Katherine Murphy, Michael North and James Schindelar, all of Centennial, were named to the president’s honor roll at the University of Wyoming.

Sean York, of Centennial, was named to the dean's list at Benedictine College.

Rachel Walberg, of Centennial, was named to the Grinnel College dean’s list for the fall semester 2008.

Matthew Pullara, a graduate of Arapahoe High School, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall semester at The College of Wooster. Pullara, a sophomore from Centennial, achieved a grade-point average of 3.65 or above.

Carly Gerhart, of Centennial, was named to the Black Hills State University dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester.

Andrew Beard has been named to the Concordia College dean’s honor list. Beard is the son of Myron Beard, of Littleton, and Linda Fischer, of Centennial.

Spencer Vore, of Centennial, earned the distinction of faculty honors for fall semester 2008 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Dana Kimpton, of Centennial, has been named to the dean's honor roll for the fall semester of 2008 at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism.

Talia Carmickle, of Centennial, was named to the dean's list for academic excellence at Bethel University, St. Paul, Minn., during the 2008 fall semester.

Kaylen Higgins, of Centennial, has been named to the Coe College dean's list for the fall 2008 semester. Higgins, daughter of Robert and Lesa Higgins, is a graduate of Littleton High School.

Alec MacColl, of Centennial, received faculty honors at Trinity College for the 2008 fall semester.

Dwight B. Lutz, of Centennial, was named to the dean’s list for the 2008 fall semester at Trinity University.

Paul Maxim, of Centennial, earned his doctorate, and Calvin Mayes, of Centennial earned, his bachelor of science from the University of Wyoming.

Dayna Tapp, of Centennial, has been named to the Linfield College fall semester dean’s list.

Centennial native Sho Fukuda received honors at Howard Payne University. Fukuda was named to the president’s list for the fall semester of 2008.

Emory University senior Alexandra Kamins has received the Gates Cambridge Scholarship, one of only 36 students in the United States and about 100 worldwide to receive the highly competitive award. She is a native of Centennial and a graduate of Arapahoe High School. She is the daughter of Dr. Mary Ellen Sanders and Dr. Richard Kamins.

Megan Arrington, of Centennial, was named to the Hastings College dean’s list for the fall 2008 semester.
