Denver, June 21, 2012 – Morgan Stanley Smith Barney’s Southern Colorado complex is pleased to partner with Project Cure to deliver medical supplies and equipment to hospitals and clinics around the world. For the second year in a row during the Firm’s annual Global Volunteer Month, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney employees across the country, including Denver, are volunteering their services.

Morgan Stanley Smith Barney volunteers from Denver participated in Project Cure’s “Deliver Health and Hope to the World” volunteer program on Wednesday, sorting and packing medical supplies that will be shipped overseas.

“Our employees here in the Denver Tech Center area are excited to partner with Project Cure to help deliver medical relief to needy people around the world,” said Clarke Octigan, Managing Director for Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. “Global Volunteer Month is an important reminder to us all that thousands of people, young and old, are in need of support and encouragement, and we are glad we can team up with Project Cure to make a positive impact.”
