Army Reserve Lt. Col. Doulgas D. Willetts has been mobilized and activated at Joint Base Dix-McGuire-Lakehurst, N.J., in preparation for deployment to serve in support of either Operation New Dawn in the Iraqi Theater of Operations or Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and the Southwest Theater of Operations. Willetts is a member of the 108th Training Command, based in Charlotte, N.C. Willetts, a combat engineer, has served in the military for 27 years. He is the son of David A. and Nancy Willetts, of Centennial, and a 1982 graduate of La Crescent High School, Minn. He received a bachelor's degree in 1990 from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse.
