Littleton High School
What will you always remember about your time in high school?
I will always remember how hard I have worked. Although high school was a time full of many changes and new experiences, one thing that remained constant was my dedication to my schoolwork and activities. Although this was something that made high school very challenging at times, it is also something that I am very proud of.
What are you most looking forward to after graduation?
I am most looking forward to the opportunity to choose my own path.In high school it felt like so many parts of my day were prescribed and out of my control. I am excited to have the time and freedom to prioritize my interests and discover what makes me excited to pursue. I am also very excited to meet new people and create meaningful friendships.
How can you make a difference in the world?
I can make a difference in the world by speaking out for change.I am eager to learn various perspectives and give a voice to those who are often overlooked.Through this, I hope to connect people, creating a better understanding among one another and a more united front for change.
I will remember most my involvement at Littleton High. I’ve been able to develop connections among my peers and teachers that I will always value. By being in a variety of extracurriculars, such as Student Council, Tennis, and Key Club, I was able to gain life lasting experiences that I will always value. Through being involved, I’ve learned the amazing potential of what Littleton High entails.
After graduation, I’m most looking forward to learning how to transition from high school to college. High school is very different from college, in which you can create your own schedule, are away from your parents and have a lot more freedom. I feel prepared for this transition. By being in the International Baccalaureate program, my teachers have prepared me for what college will entail. With guidance, I’ve been able to improve my time management, work ethic and quality of work throughout my junior and senior year.
Mixing my passion while contributing to my community is my ideal type of career. Having a love for chemistry, I intend on using my interests in bettering the world. By pursuing a career in pharmacy, I hope that not only I can answer help answer questions or to improve people's health, but by also developing connections with customers. Being positive to one person results in that person to be nice to others. Positivity can be seen through the domino effect. Such small scale tasks too can also make quite the positive difference in the world.
I have almost zero regrets about high school. If I was told by the universe I had to do it all over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. What I will always remember about Littleton High School are all the people that have helped me become what I am today.
I think despite being 18 years old, I think high schoolers are treated ask kids.I really look forward to the independence that I will be offered once this epoch of my life comes to a close.
My generation is truly unique because we were born right when technology was becoming relevant. We remember a time before Snapchat, yet, we’ve lived to experience its affects as well.I think I can make a difference by continuing to advance by being a sensible and compassionate human being.
Something I’ll always remember about Arapahoe is the impact the teachers had on each student. Each one of them not only cares so much about the subject they’re teaching but also each student. Life won't stop because we do, so we must rise to the occasion we’ve been presented and thrive the best we can in a struggle. We must never underestimate the power in each of us, and the teachers at Arapahoe truly proved this to me.
After graduation, I’m really excited to just have new adventures in the world. Arapahoe has really prepared me well and I’m excited to see how all the different lessons I’ve learned here will follow through into the future. As I begin college and move out and forward, I can’t wait for the new experiences to come with a world of new responsibility but also possibilities.
I think the biggest way someone can make a difference in the world is simply by being the best person they can be. With this comes kindness, selflessness, and a mind geared towards helping every person to be the best person they can be. If we always live with kindness in our heart, I think that is the way that we can help change the world every day. If we put ourselves aside and look to the world, we can truly make a difference.
Arapahoe High School
I will always remember the amazing teachers, classmates, teammates and coaches Ihad the privilege to work alongside for four years. I will cherish the memories I made on Toms as well as serving the team as captain my senior year. I also have appreciated the traditions and values Arapahoe upholds year after year. I have learned so much academically, but also have grown as a person thanks to important investments in my life. I know how to hold myself accountable, have a strong drive, be a good steward of what I have been given, and advocate for myself.
I am looking forward to serving kids in an orphanage for three weeks this summer with my cousins in Arequipa, Peru. I am also excited to start the next chapter of my life in Nashville, Tennessee in the fall at Belmont University where I intend to pursue a career in nursing after being directly admitted into their school of nursing at the Gordon E. Inman College of Health Sciences.
I hope to make a difference in this world by caring for people through a career in the medical field, hopefully using my personal experience with a rare eye disease and my late father’s battle with blood cancer to provide genuine empathy to people in their distress. I also intend to use the Spanish language I learned at Arapahoe High School, skills that were enhanced by my family’s yearly trips to Juarez, Mexico to build houses for deserving families there. I hope to take part in many global missions trips in the future and have a family of my own someday!
I will always remember the relationships I made. I am so thankful for the friends I made throughout high school in sports, clubs and classes. I am also thankful for the relationships I had with my teachers. They were always there to help and truly cared about me.

Heritage High School

After graduation I’m looking forward to going to college in-state. I can’t wait to go and seek more leadership opportunities. Heritage definitely prepared me for bigger and better things! I’m also excited at looking for opportunities to study abroad!
I hope to one day make a difference with adoptable dogs and cats. Animals are a huge passion of mine that I would like to bring more attention to and change the ways of adopting pets.
I will always remember playing ultimate frisbee for my high school team. Frisbee isn’t very popular at our school, but I became very close with all of the other people on our team. We had a lot of fun playing frisbee on those warm summer nights.
I am super excited for college. I’m going to college in Ohio, so it’s very far away from home. I’m a little nervous, but I am ready to make lots of new friends and to meet lots of new people.
I want to make a difference in the world just by being kind and polite to others. It’s hard to make a monumental change in society, but it’s easy to genuinely care about other people.
Options High School
The thing I will remember and cherish the most would be the adventure days that we used to have; sadly, there will be no more of those. I will always remember Anna Spillen’s class because of the positivity and good vibes she brought into the classroom.
I am looking forward to not having to come to school anymore so that I can work a lot more and go on with my life. I can't wait to be done with school after 12+ years of being in a classroom.
I can make a difference in the by using what I have learned in the 12+ years of being in school in the real world by getting the job that I want and treating myself and others around me with positivity and respect.
I will always remember the teachers at Options High School and how they have helped me progress through the years. They have helped me become a better student and are always supportive. Without them I think Options would be a different place. The leadership class has helped me develop my skills and learn new skills to help me in my future.
I am most looking forward to starting college next year and working towards joining the police force. I also look forward to learning and growing as a person through life experiences.
I can make a difference in the world by helping people. I am going to try to change as a many people life as I can while being in the police force. I also want to help change the way that society looks at police officers.
I will always remember the people. My friends, my fellow students and the teachers at Options High School. Those people made high school fun and kept me going, I made friends with people that I never thought I would even talk to. I enjoyed high school because of the people around me.
I’m looking forward to finally being out of school and taking my experiences with me for the rest of my life.
Start small, to make a difference in the world you need to take it step by step. Spread your words of change, be someone people look up to and want to be like you. Make them realize they can do big things too; they just need to take those steps to start their journey.
