Littleton police searching for missing 23-year-old

The Littleton Police Department said late Monday night it is searching for a 23-year-old woman last seen Sunday in The Meadows neighborhood in Castle Rock. Catherine Hay was last seen in that area around 9 a.m. according to police.

"Her family hasn't heard from here and she's officially a missing person," said Littleton spokesperson Sheera Poleman.

According to Poleman, Hay is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 135 pounds. She drives a blue 2019 Chevy Trax with the license plate BSBB62.

Poleman said Hay's family described her as an avid hiker but mentioned all of her gear had been left at home.

Police said anyone with information should call Detective Christina Goodman at 303-795-3896.
