Inter-Faith Community Services hopes to raise money and
awareness of what the organization is about Nov. 24 at Inter-Faith
night with the Denver Nuggets.
“This is our first time to do a fund-raiser like this and this
is the first time our organization has been featured at a Denver
Nuggets game,” said Maria Pearson, Inter-Faith community relations
director. “It should be great. All out people will be sitting
together. Inter-Faith president Sandra Blythe-Perry and I get to
talk to the crowd a little before the game starts and we’ll staff a
table in the concourse with information about Inter-Faith.”
Inter-Faith has discount tickets available for the game against
the New Jersey Nets. The program offers first-level end loge
tickets for $40 that normally cost $62. There also are third-level
corner balcony tickets for $20 that normally cost $27. Pearson said
Inter-Faith is hoping to sell 250 tickets for the game.
Additionally, all who buy tickets through the program are
entered in drawings for two special activities in which 10 people
will be selected to sit court side to watch the warmups before the
Pepsi Center is opened to the public. Additionally, 25 youngsters
will be selected to high-five the Nuggets as they come out of the
tunnel to the floor for the game.
