New Northwestern Mutual office
Northwestern Mutual is opening a new office in Castle Rock, which will be a field office of the Colorado Springs network.
The office opening is part of the growth and expansion plans set forth by Northwestern Mutual Colorado Springs managing partner Kevin Kaveney when Northwestern Mutual announced the Colorado Springs location was chosen to expand the firm’s presence and services in Colorado by becoming its own network office last November.
Josh Orr will serve as field director and is responsible for the client relations and business operations of the new Castle Rock office, 751 Maleta Lane, Suite 103, east of Interstate 25 off Founders Parkway.
Orr is a financial representative and former U.S. Army captain who served in various locations across the United States and overseas. He is also a member of the Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce.
“Our office will focus on the many small businesses in our area as well as the individual client,” Orr said in the release. “We’re here to provide financial planning that will impact a business by helping it to be more efficient and successful while expanding our reach to growing communities like Castle Rock.”
Financial adviser honored
Craig Johlfs, a certified financial adviser with Waddell & Reed, has been named to the firm’s 2019 Chairman’s Cabinet, one of the highest honors for its financial advisers.
Only 12 advisers were named to Chairman’s Cabinet this year. Presented annually, the recognition is bestowed to the firm’s most productive financial advisers based on an analysis of sales activity generated by the adviser. This is the third time that Johlfs has earned the honor.
Johlfs also recently participated in the invitation-only Top Advisors’ Forum, a gathering of Waddell & Reed financial advisers.
Johlfs, 40, has been a professional in the financial services industry for more than 12 years and advises clients throughout the Denver metro community. He joined Waddell & Reed in 2006. Johlfs is the president of Johlfs Financial Group in the Denver Tech Center.
