Major moth mania coming in January to Denver Botanic Gardens

Posted

More than 20,000 ink and paper moths will cover the walls of the Denver Botanic Gardens' Freyer Gallery early next year in the upcoming exhibit “Cross-Pollination: The Moth Migration Project,” an immersive installation by artist Hilary Lorenz, who started the project in 2017.

This exhibit of moths, created over a number of years, will celebrate moths as important pollinators, but also will speak of the cross-pollination of ideas through global human relationships. Artists from 27 countries are contributing images.

The exhibit will run Jan. 15 through April 3, 2022. 1007 York St., Denver. Ticketed. See botanicgardens.org.
