Twinkling holiday tradition continues at SouthGlenn

Santa made his annual early stop at west Centennial’s outdoor mall, helping to ring in the season amid a host of holiday activities.

At the 11th annual Holiday Tree Lighting and Santa’s Arrival at The Streets at SouthGlenn, Santa boarded a holiday-themed Clydesdale carriage to make an entrance into Commons Park, SouthGlenn’s central gathering area.

He lit up a slew of lights on the holiday tree and around SouthGlenn’s The Cube ice rink, and crowds visited him after an ice show, where U.S. national-level skaters performed a skating exhibition for the official opening of the ice rink.

The Nov. 22 event also included Clydesdale carriage rides, carolers, a holiday photo booth, ice sculptures and holiday snacks.

The Streets at SouthGlenn is located at East Arapahoe Road and South University Boulevard in Centennial.
