The Friends of the Arapahoe Library District is a special group
of 500 library lovers and supporters whose primary objective is to
raise funds by selling used books and Friends memberships.
These funds are allocated to the Library District in the form of
grants, supporting programs and projects, such as special features
for the Library District’s new libraries, events, library
materials, equipment and more. So far in 2011, the Friends Board
has granted the Library District nearly $95,000.
