Explore Centennial adds businesses

The City of Centennial has announced a new list of businesses to join Explore Centennial, a city-sponsored program that encourages residents to support the local economy and keep sales-tax dollars in Centennial. The city is partnering with local businesses to offer savings at businesses across the city.

To participate, visit centennialcolorado.com and click the “Shop Local” icon on the left side of the page. Participants will receive a free “Explore Centennial” card to present at participating businesses.

According to Corri Spiegel, Centennial’s economic-development manager, by supporting local businesses, residents are reinvesting in their community, increasing the diversity of available products and services and ultimately improving the quality of life in Centennial.

“This has proven to be quite a successful program for the local businesses,” she said. “Centennial business continue to have really great deals for their customers that help to sustain our local economy.”

Since March 2009, more than 270 consumers have signed up to participate.

New businesses include:

Discounts include 10-20 percent, $5 off purchases of $25 or more, and buy-one-get-one-free offers.
