Evergreen gallery hosts watermedia exhibition

Center for the Arts Evergreen, 31880 Rocky Village Drive in Evergreen, hosts the annual Rocky Mountain National Watermedia Exhibit through Oct. 30. Steve Griggs was juror and selected 65 works from 485 entries. In addition to traditional transparent watercolor, paintings are executed in egg tempera, acrylic, gouache and mixed media. ‘Print Renaissance’

The Littleton Museum hosts “Print Renaissance,” an exhibit of prints by mid-century American masters of printmaking, including lithographs and silkscreens, through Oct. 16. Artists included in the exhibit include Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenburg, Frank Stella and Robert Rauschenberg. The exhibit includes 18 artworks and is part of the University of Colorado Art Museum’s Polly and Mark Addison Outreach Exhibition Program. 303-795-3950, littletongov.org/city-services/city-departments/museum.

Littleton Symphony

The Littleton Symphony, under the direction of Jurgen de Lemos, begins its 38th season at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 15 at Littleton United Methodist Church, 5894 S. Datura St., Littleton. Exhibit seeks artists

Entries for the Heritage Fine Arts Guild’s annual “This is Colorado” exhibit will be accepted Oct. 18-22. The juried show will be at Arapahoe Comunity College’s Colorado Gallery of the Arts from Nov. 29 to Dec. 21. Details: heritage-guild.com.

Denver Arts and Venues seeks to commission an artist or team of artists to create original public artworks for the renovation of Denver’s 16th Steet Mall. The request for qualifications is open now through Oct. 18 at CallForEntry.org. The budget is $700,000.
