Centennial’s Litt earns Therapist of the Year

Steve Litt, LCSW, of Centennial, was honored as the therapist of the year at the annual meeting of the Colorado Association for Marriage and Family Therapy March 27. Litt has been in private practice since 1976, and is on the faculty of the Denver Family Institute. He is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He was recognized for his work with couples and families, and for his work co-founding the National Center for Intervention.

Wage reimbursement program is extended

Arapahoe/Douglas Works’ HIRE Colorado wage reimbursement program for Colorado businesses has been extended through Sept. 30. Receive up to $6,000 in cash reimbursements for each eligible new hire.

Additionally, the reimbursement is now available for all open positions within a company, not just new job creation.

The Arapahoe/Douglas County residency restrictions for applicants have been relinquished. This means any Colorado resident can qualify a company for the reimbursements if they meet the two other eligibility requirements:

Candidates must have a child under age 18

Candidates must have a household income under $75,000 per year.

Funding has been extended through Sept. 30, which means there is plenty of time to place individuals with a company that will qualify for additional reimbursements.

We are now reimbursing 100 percent of the hourly wages, up to $6,000 per new hire, and up to five placements within your company.
