Posted

The Arapahoe Community College Parker Campus will serve as the venue for an information session with six Ukrainian college teachers and their interpreter Oct. 19 from 2-3:30 p.m.

The Ukrainian teachers, who are being hosted by the Rotary Club of Parker, will engage in conversation with ACC faculty and staff about the College's curriculum, facilities and administration.

The Ukrainian teachers' eight-day visit to Colorado, which will include visits with Colorado state legislators and educators ranging from pre-school through higher education, is sponsored by the U.S. State Department.

The ACC Parker Campus (formerly University Center at Chaparral) received notoriety five years ago as a leader in public / private partnerships for hosting several Russian leaders as part of the 2005 Open World Program.
