5A football playoffs: Arapahoe out after Regis in Round 2

The No. 15 seed in the Class 5A state playoffs, Arapahoe travel for their second round matchup Nov. 12 at Lou Kellog Stadium in Aurora to play No. 2 seeded Regis. The Raiders defeated the Warriors 49-21 and ended their post season surge.

In the second quarter, the Warriors’ Adam Lindell scored on a 2-yard touchdown run. In the fourth quarter, quarterback Alec Gieser threw a 24-yard touchdown to receiver Greg Bechler.

Additional highlights and individual statistics were not reported by press time. Arapahoe finished its season with a 7-4 overall record.
