Centennial budget committee has openings

Applications are being accepted to fill openings on the City of Centennial Budget Committee. The committee allows residents to be involved in the budgeting decisions of the city.

Committee members study all phases of the budget process and make recommendations to the city council based on their studies. The committee includes the mayor, a councilmember, three citizen representatives, the city manager and the finance director.

Residents serve on the budget committee for three years, and meetings take place at the Centennial Civic Center, 13133 E. Arapahoe Road, Centennial.

For an application and other information, call the city clerk at 303-754-3302 or go to www.centennialco.gov. Applications are due by 5 p.m. Nov. 30.
