District 1 meeting scheduled

Centennial District 1 Council Members Vorry Moon and Rick Dindinger will host a meeting Feb. 25 from 6-8 p.m. at the Southglenn Library, 6972 South Vine St. in The Streets at SouthGlenn.

The agenda includes a presentation from Centennial Animal Services, a public works update and a discussion on Amendment 64. All residents of District 1 are encouraged to attend and bring questions. March 9 is National Passort Day

The Colorado Passport Agency is celebrating Passport Day in the USA, a special event sponsored by the U.S. Department of State. On March 9 from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. no appointments will be needed for applicants at the Colorado Passport Agency, 3151 S. Vaughn Way, Suite 600 in Aurora.

More information on Passport Day in the USA and how to apply for a U.S. passport is available at travel.state.gov. U.S. citizens may also obtain passport information by phone, in English and Spanish, by calling the National Passport Information Center toll-free at 877- 487-2778.

ACC hosts career, job fair

Arapahoe Community College invites both students and community members to attend its 2013 Spring Career and Job Fair on Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Second Floor Student Lounge.

Meet with dozens of area employers who are looking to hire. Come with a fresh resume. Be prepared to network and potentially find a job.
